| I got an Error when I run the installer / unpack the file Corrupt files are not really that common, but occassionally, anyone can get one. When a file has an error, it was probably resumed during downloading too many times and some bytes got lost during the stops. This also happens when a file isn't completely downloaded, or if you used a download accelerator. When you get an error, try to re-download the file. This will usually clear up any trouble. If it fails again, it may be that your ISP (internet service provider) caches data and that the cached copy of the installer is corrupted. In this case it's best to download a few days later. | |

| | RM IV multi outs not working in logic 7 This is possible when RM IV was setup as stereo instrument during Logic 7 validation. Logic then "remembers" RM IV as stereo instrument. Solution is click the backpanel and set desired number of outs. Then Please start Audio Unit manager from Logic's preferences and click Reset & Rescan All. | |

| In GarageBand 4 in Mac OS X 10.5 I don't see instrument panel with controls, but it worked in Mac OS X 10.4.
There is bug in GarageBand that prevents drawing contents of plugin window in Mac OS X 10.5. This has been fixed in GarageBand 4.1.1 update.
I can't paste or type correctly my serial number in Logic 8.
We are working on resolving this issue together with Apple and expect a Logic update within the next few weeks. You can use GarageBand or another host to enter serial number or update Logic to the latest version (its fixed in 8.0.1).

|  I cannot enter the serial in Cubase SX / SL at all
Under some conditions Cubase SX prevents you from entering text. Open a VST plugin or instrument editor. Right click in the grey area below the title bar (ie in the top right hand corner we marked red in the example picture). Make sure "Always on top" is unchecked !
On Mac you need to Ctrl-Click below the edit window to access the “Always on Top” option. Some versions of Cubase do also have a
Preferences/VST/Plug-Ins receive key commands
option that should be checked. | |

| RM IV / Albino is out of sync in logic 6 Versions prior to Logic 7 do have invalid song position information being passed to the plugin under some circumstances when the song starts at Bar 1. Workaround is to move the song to start from Bar 2 or later. | |

Try repairing permissions on startup disk. You can do this with Disk Utility (located in /Application/Utilities). You can install LinPlug software only with administrator account. If you're not logged as user that can admin the computer (the default one), you'll be prompted for administrator login and password. | |

| I can't extract zip files from CD/DVD on my Mac. If the zip file is on write-protected medium (CD or DVD), copy the zip file to your hard disk and try again. If you have 10.2 System, make sure you have Stuffit Expander installed.
