In Cubase SX/SL 2 and 3

Drag and Drop of MIDI files from RM IV works with any host that supports dropping MIDI files. In Cubase SX 3 it looks like this: you drag from where the blue arrow starts (the D-Button in RM IV) to any MIDI track in Cubase.

The file is placed right in the track and now it looks like this:

In Cubase SX/SL 2 however the MIDI file is placed in a new track at the bottom of the track window.


In Digital Performer

You drag from where the blue arrow starts (the D-Button in RM IV) to the corresponding MIDI track in Digital Performer.

Digital Performer has two windows for arranging tracks. You can drag MIDI file into MIDI track in "Tracks view" but not in "Arrange view".

and the MIDI data will appear in the MIDI track and in conductor track:


In FL Studio 4 and 5

You drag from where the blue arrow starts (the D-Button in RM IV) to the corresponding MIDI track in FL. Make sure channel 10 is selected as shown in the appearing Import MIDI dialogue. The result you see below:


In Logic

You drag from where the blue arrow starts (the D-Button in RM IV) to the corresponding MIDI track in Logic.

and the MIDI data will appear in the MIDI track:


In Sonar 3 and 4

and the MIDI data will appear in the Sonar track:


In Tracktion 2

You drag from where the blue arrow starts (the D-Button in RM IV) to the corresponding MIDI track in Tracktion 2.
