No MIDI

You cannot trigger your LinPlug instrument via MIDI

There are actually three possible reasons:

You have to enter your serial number.
When you installed your new instrument or sometimes when you updated to a new version you need to enter the serial number in the instruments rear/settings panel. The serial has been sent to you by email when you bought a download version from our shop or has been printed to the box or manual when you bought a boxed version.
If you bought a boxed version we strongly recommend to
register with us so we can help you in case you loose your serial.

Or no MIDI is sent to the instrument at all

If the serial number field is not editable the serial has been entered correctly already. If that’s the case then the instrument simply not receives any MIDI data. Please refer to your hosts manual about how to route MIDI to an instrument, as this is a highly host depending issue we cant guide you.

There is a minor chance that there is a third reason:

If you tweaked a preset up to the point where there is no Audio output anymore you will of course also hear nothing when sending MIDI to the instrument. Please load a factory preset (or factory drum kit) and check again.

If all this does not help (and we doubt it wont, because all support emails about this issue we got so far were of one of this three types), please use our support form.
